The EUSTITE project is being carried out by a consortium of partners including 10 public sector organisations from 10 EU Member States and the World Health Organisation. The project leader is the National Transplant Centre in Italy. Nine of the 10 organisations have been nominated by their Member States as Competent Authorities for the implementation of key aspects of Directive 2004/23/EU and its associated technical directives. All partners are represented on the Project Board which meets every 6 months. Click on Project partners on the side-bar to learn more about these organisations, their roles and for a link to their websites. A number of external experts is contributing to specific aspects of the project. For example, most of the work on vigilance and surveillance has been carried out by a Medical Advisory Committee which comprises some project partners and a number of invited experts in the fields of disease transmission and haemovigilance. External experts will also be invited to contribute to the training of inspectors. Click on External experts on the side-bar to learn more about these individuals and their roles. The project partnership has identified a number of key organisations whose work is relevant to the project and who will be invited to collaborate at various stages. Stakeholders, including organisations that represent professionals in the field who run the services to be inspected, have also been identified and will be kept updated on project developments. Click on Collaborators and Stakeholders on the side-bar to see a list of these organisations and to link to their websites.
